Reflection
During this journey at the Global Learning Medallion, I have encountered amazing people with incredible stories, traveled to fantastic places in Europe, and learned from younger and older students in FIU. I must say that it was not easy, there were many stressful moments, but I learned that if I put my mind into it, I can accomplish the mission. I enjoyed every moment at FIU and discovered new parts of my personality that I was not aware of before. That was maybe what I liked the most. When I arrived in the US, I was not a good student, I never dreamed of being one, I did not even want to study for starters. However, when I discovered what I liked, I realize that I could do much more. When that passion struck, everything was more natural. At one point, things became a challenge, and I was always challenging myself for more and more. That is why after four years at FIU, I am now graduating with three majors in International Relations, Political Science, and Global Studies, with a Certificate in Political Transitions and Human Rights, as well as the Global Learning Medallion. Now, I am just thinking about the next challenge, but this time, I feel much more prepare for what is to come.
