About
Matias Sojo
I was born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay. From an early age, I was interested in people and their relationships. When I moved to the United States as an international student on April 4th, 2016, I thought that a Communications major was a great fit for me. However, two weeks after starting at FIU I realize there were many more options of studies here than in Uruguay, That was when I found the major in International Relations and the journey started.

Home: Welcome

After enrolling in International Relations I realize I had enough time to study more things. That was when I declared my second major in Political Science. Given that I was not allowed to work, I had plenty of time to learn. I decided to do a certification in Political Transitions and Human Rights with a focus on Democracy.
Last year I declared my last (third) major, in Global Studies, to give me an even broader knowledge about the world after doing my exchange program to Barcelona, Spain, where I spend 8 months.
